We went to the doctor today for Max’s 2 month check up, even though he is now 2 and half months. He weighed in at 13.6 and he is measuring 24.5 inches! He was above the curve for both weight and height. He also got his first set of shots today. He did scream, but it wasn’t bad and it sure didn’t last long. He has been pretty sleepy all day and I talked to the doctor about Max spitting up about 20-30 minutes after I lay him down to sleep and we decided to put him on a stronger reflux medication to see if that will help. We have also inclined his crib to see if that will help the poor thing sleep without spitting up. The doctor thinks this is the reason Max hasn’t slept good and that hopefully this will resolve the issue- I sure hope so!
I was so sad to hear the news about Lynwood yesterday and I had a card that I was going to send him yesterday, already had a stamp on it and everything. I will cherish the card Lynwood sent Max on September 13th that read -
Hi kid-
Welcome to the World of Woe. You are a pretty handsome chap. Good luck.
Uncle Lynwood
I am so glad we got to see Lynwood at Labor Day, even if Max won’t remember meeting him.

Everything is going good, life is moving along. We just finished a meeting with Ronny Wade that was excellent. Max is a bit worn out from it, but it was a great meeting and we enjoyed getting to take Ronny and Alfreda out on Saturday while watching OU win. I think Cale had a good time- watching OU win and eating Mexican food. Max is getting so funny with his toys. He loves batting at them and we laugh watching him. It is great for me because I can get stuff done, like taking a shower.
Before Max was even born I bought him this costume, it just cracks me up. I will end with it…
